 Paint in tank????????????????? I would like to paint some pieces of PVC to place in my tank to direct some water flow from a power head. Is it safe to go to Home Depot or some where and buy some plastic paint and paint PVC to go into a tank?  |

| Re: Paint in tank????????????????? Use sand paper to rough up your PVC this promotes the growth of coraline algae on the PVC faster!

| Re: Paint in tank????????????????? My LFS recommended to lather the PVC with reef safe adhesive (the same used for attaching rock to rock) and then putting LS/shells/etc on it. I am still in the process of changing over to my 100 gal tank (from a 29Gal BioCube) and have not gotten that far yet so I don't have pictures. |

| Re: Paint in tank????????????????? I would not paint anything going inside the tank. Like someone else said, sand the PVC and wait. In time purple spots will cover it. |
