 Spray Bar Questions Im planning to set up a spraybar behind my rockwork to circulate detrius out where it will be picked up by main current. Im planning to use my main return from sump to power the spraybar rather than putting another powerhead into the tank. Return pump is Rio 2500, its pressure rated with a flow of approx 800gph at 5ft head. My question is how many holes of what diameter should I plan for on my spraybar to keep a decent flow from each without either overrestricting the pump or lowering the pressure so much that it is valueless for circulation?  |

| Re: Spray Bar Questions 1/8" holes should be fine. Number of holes will depend on how much flow you want. I'd space them about an inch apart for starters.
