This is my 220 that will be my FOWLR..sure doesn't look 220 in the picture! Haha I promise...it's huge!

This is my current 90 gallon acyrlic bowfront freshwater w/all live plants that I have running now

That is how my pics always turn out too, look a lot smaller than it really is.

pleco- My friend touched a work that came in his LR and got bit, he was bleeding and then his thumb was numb for almost a full 24 hours! I think that is the story that made me not like worms from the ocean, except feather dusters, they are OK.

yeah, this is why i would never go in and touch the sand after cycle, or move the rock around with my bare hands!! i remember being in the beach and something swam right past my leg, it scared me so bad i did not go back in the water.

Pleco,
That is MH lighting on the fresh. We want to try and use it for my 220. If it ends up not being efficiant, we are going to buy MH for the 220. We are thinking that it will work though..

Overflow question---

This might be a subject that is contraversial between different people.. But!

Should I have an overflow system? Or drill holes?

What are the pros and cons of each?? Thanks guys

By the way--totally off topic, I gave my boyfriend one of those fake scratch off lottery tickets today. Says that he won $10,000. He was silent, sat there, and then stood up very calmly to come and talk to me..I was trying to not laugh, so I brought something up, he said..I have something more important. And gave me the ticket. I acted all excited, then he read the back to figure out how to cash it in. It said..cash in at Yo mama's house! haha. Thought I would share

But really I am needing assistance on the overflow...

haha....that is a good one!

As for overflows, drill holes if possible. It is a lot easier and they can handle more flow.

The boxes are safe; I have one and have no troubles with it but I hear and read about some people who have minor floods. I guess you can have a flood with either style but with a drilled hole you are less likely.

Well, I finally got to see my 220 in person! Here it is. They had it sitting on it's side, I put it the correct way, but didn't take a pic of it sitting normal. The picture does not do it's justice! Standing on it's side, almost touches the ceiling in the basement, This babies a beast!!
