| here is a article on making your own food, I recently started doing this after speaking to a club member who has been doing so. I noticed that my Hammer Coral opens up much bigger than before, My LTA is all over the place when I feed, zoos are way open with poylps spread out wide. I am sure you can foul up your water levels by over feeding this way so I wouldnt feed daily with it. Do-it-Yourself Frozen Food by Steven Pro - Reefkeeping.com

| When I made mine I didnt have much at hand, some frozen mysis shrimp, some frozen silversides, frozen krill, some sea lettuce & pellet that I had dethawled mixed and placed in bottom of plastic bowl, broke that trying to bust up food. I like the eggcrate ideal! Anyhow I would add what ever food you like, just make sure its stuff that the fish will actually eat or it will just become waste nutrients.
