If possible I would move the return pump to the center and have baffles between each section. you have the corect ideal on how to split your lines to the fuge & skimmer.

Where does everyone get these programs to draw stuff up?

I used paint for everything that i have done. It is the fastest one to use in my opinion.

Dale posted a design that I like. Having the return pump in the middle is the most beneficial way to divide a sump. This way, none of the water that is going through the fuge or skimmer goes through the other filtration method so they are both getting dirty water directly from the tank.

The over under baffle wont be needed between the fuge and the return section. The dam for the return section should go almost to the top of the tank to give more depth.Because of much slower flow in the fuge section all the bubbles will dicipate without help.A short section of lighting grid on top of the fuge dam will keep your green stuff from getting into the return section yet allow pods to get out into the return for a short trip to the main tank.
