Icon14 Refugium Baffel Height

Here is a drawing of a refugium I intend to build.

My tank is 30x12x18 LxWxH

Reef Devil Skimmer has a max 7' depth but I can raise it up. It has a 7" Diameter.

1) How much room should I allow for each chamber? (Skimmer, return, Refugium)

2) How high should I put the baffels on each side?

3) What is a good gap between baffels?

Thank you in advance for all your input.

Bob

The heigth of the over baffles the two that go to the bottom of the tank could be as tall as 8 inch's.The under baffle height only needs to be 2 or 3 inch's taller and an inch or so up from the bottom. The dam for the fuge should go almost to the top.The deeper the better.the space between the last over baffle and the fuge damn only needs to be slightly wider than the pump you use.Remember that all the extra water that creates your flow has to fit in the sump tank if your pumps stop for any reason.

Oh,about 4 inch's apart for the baffles.closer than that will make construction very difficult.
