| For depth, I think 16" is ideal since corals in a frag tank don't get large and you will get much better light penetration. For width, the wider the better, as long as your light gets out to the edges. I'd say somewhere between 24"-30" would be ideal.

| well yes this is the begining of a build thread... i was thinking of making it 4 foot long , 16 inches wide and 16 inches high.

| looks like a good plan! will the skimmer area be at a lower water level than the frag areas? If not, what pump do you plan on using?

| yes elliot , the skimmer will be lower then the fuge and frag areas . i am not sure on the pump yet i am going to try a mag 5 to start(have one already) and then go from there ..
