Icon5 Another Fuge Question

If you guys have read my other posts you know that I am building a HOB fuge. I finally ordered my pump and got it. I ended up getting the Mini- Jet 404. So my next question is what do i put in my fuge. I am looking for nutrient export and a place for pods. Will a sand bed of about 4" be of any benefit in such a small place? I was also thinking of getting some Chaeto* i think thats how you spell it. Anyone want to send me some for a good price. Also, if sand is a good idea, where should i get it? I prefer not my LFS, all they have is the sealed bags that have been sitting on the shelf for who knows how long. Any opinions are great.
Thanks, Jason

I have some reef mud in my fuge. and on top of that I put a 1 gallon tray with live sand.
reef mud was not cheap at all, but it is totaly worth it. costs about $80- $90.

The Plan worked out great, I have a pistol shrimp paired with a yashiya gobie in there, and they do a great job of keeping the mud moving. I threw in a bunch of shells, crished tonga branches, and plenty of calurpay and other macro algea. keeping janitors is a must, they will keep it nice and clean...

I grow plenty of algea if anyone needs any.. also have short white pulsating xenia fragments....
