Default 2 chillers inline

I have two 1/10 horse resun cl-280 and was wondering if i could put them inline one after another to chill a larger acuarium. How many gallons could this work with and how many gallons per hour should I use?

It may work, but running them separately would give your better results. If they were inline, the second chiller would be trying to cool water that has already been cooled some, thus causing the second chiller to want to shut off even when your tank water is above the temp you set the chillers to shut off at. If you look at the chiller's owner manual, it should say the recommended flow rate through the chiller. As far as how many gallons it can cool, that depends on how many degrees the chiller is trying to pull the water temp down and what is heating the water up. For a typical reef tank, a 1/10hp chiller is nearing it's limits from tanks around 75-125 gallons, so two 1/10hp chillers would probably be fine for tanks up to 150-250 gallons, but it would be more efficient to sell the two 1/10hp chillers and get one larger chiller.

Tanks for bringing that up. What do you think if I had just one pump with two indipendent lines going to each chiller.

As long as the pump is strong enough and the lines are relatively the same size and length that should work just fine. If the line sizes or lengths are too much different, one of the chillers may get way to much or little flow.
