It depends on what type of look you like...6,500k will be a little on the yellow side with the best growth rate. 10,000k will give a crisp white with good growth rate. You can supplement with atinics which will give a blue to purplish color. Together you should get a nice custom look.

Personally I have the following (front to back):

Aqua z blue pro special
Sylvania penetron 6,500k
Fiji special
Sylvania penetron 6,500k
Aqua z blue pro special

some believe it promotes growth, as do I, but you will find many who don't think so. Violet range stimulates many pigments in organisms such as corals, fish and inverts. actinic spectrum resembles that of the absorption peak of chlorophyll-a, which is the most important pigment found in plant cells. with that being said it not just for the color or tint of your tank but the actual color of your livestock. and there's still wattage going into your tank so it has to promote some growth, maybe not as well as daylight bulbs, but definitely serves a purpose.

u got 6 to choose. i'd mix it up, maybe 2-6500, 2-10000 and 2-actinic, or maybe even sub w/ a 50-50 somewhere. it's up to you.
