Default Hagen Glo T5 HO Flor. Lighting comments?

I work at petsmart and i see a 48" Hagen Glo T5 HO 2x54w for sale. Im kinda new to salt and im looking for a fairly decent light, that wont kill me in cost and can keep everything alive in my 55 tank. I have just the stock lights that come with the tank because it used to be my big feeder goldfish tank. Now i have 45 pounds of live fiji rock from my LFS, 5 mexican turbo snails, 6 scarlet hermits and hoping to get some plants in there as well. I want to get a Dwarf Fuzzy lionfish, Powder Brown Tang, and maybe a yellow watchmen goby. I will have anemones with anemone crabs, so would this lighting be significant enough for all them? Will the lionfish leave the anemones, and crabs alone if they are in their shell or on an anemone? Will the light overheat the tank to where i should get a chiller? Sorry for so many questions, just have not found any reviews yet on that type of light, as well as any decent comments on my setup. Thanks in advance.

HeliuX

P.S. yes, im getting more hermit crabs later but 5 are what im sticking with right now to make sure all my tank conditions are good.

Default Re: Hagen Glo T5 HO Flor. Lighting comments?

When i first started out my lfg told me to go with MH but i was worried about overheating so i went with 4 VHO's.Well i should have listened to him from the beginning.I currently have 2 170w 20,000k MH nows and my tank looks a 100x betterand it did not overheat my tank, its just like being underwater.I bought my MH on ebay just have to keep looking for a good deal.If you would like send me an e-mail and ill send you a few pick of my tank and how i set up my lights i cant quite figure out how to post pic's here yet,pguthrie001@ec.rr.com
