Default Problem With Skimmer!!!

Hey everyone.
I just came home, and there are no microbubbles rising in my skimmer. I unplugged everything, and restarted the pump and system, and still there are no bubbles. I blew into the air line, and bubbles and foam (working properly) started rising, but they stopped as soon as I stopped blowing. Please help me. it's memorial day weekend, and We will be leaving tomorrow and not arriving back until monday night, so i want it resolved asap. thanks!!

Sounds like your pump quit pumping or something went wrong with a needle wheel. Dont know what kind of skimmer you have so cant really say but its in the pump somewhere.

I'd clean the pump and air line and see if that helps. If not, something may have gotten into the water that is preventing the skimmer from functioning correctly. The one thing that you don't want to do prior to taking off is clean the skimmer or make it function differently and then have it go nuts and overflow when your gone for a few days and come home to a mess on the floor. Your tank will survive for a few days or more without a skimmer without showing any (or at least minimal) negative signs.
