Default Refugium

First to any of you who are or who have served our nation in the armed forces, a very heartfelt thank you on this memorial day!

Now, I am setting up a refugium (mostly to keep copepods alive) and my question is if the water from the refugium goes back into my sump some of it will go through the skimmer (no way to avoid that) but ALL of it will go through the UV sterilizer, will this kill the critters or stun them?
