Default CPR Bak-Pak R2?

I was given this skimmer minus the pump and would like to begin using it, any info or suggestions. I know it had a MaxiJet 1200 could I possibly run a hydor head off the return? (without it overflowing) Any help I appreciate.

I got the type of pump it originally came with but I seem to be having trouble finding the right coupler to fit the pump to the skimmer intake. The piece between the skimmer intake and the pump is removable but has a "T" for a air hose. I hooked it up like it said to ( I think) and my air line was just used as another outlet for water. What did I do wrong? Im sure its simple but I'd appreciate any help. Thanks

On mine there is no coupler. The maxijet fits directly into the intake and there is a spot on the maxijet fot the airline.
