Default Equipment Guide request.

Hi guys, im new at this. Like a lot of other noobs, i am overwhelmed with everything. I think a huge role in that is terminology. Even the beginners guides explain things well, but use a lot of terms noobs may not be familiar with. Where this i smost important is equipment since its essentially the building block of a great tank. Im surprised to see that no one has a guide up. I think it would be a really great idea, and a terrific service, if someone could make a list of all equipment, where to get it, what it does, and some examplyes of brands prices etc. It could be a simple drop down list that could go in order of Requirement so basically it would start with the tank lol. Theres a lot to learn i think some of you veterans have forgotten what its like to open a web page trying to learn and get bombarded with scientific termsinology every 5-8 words in a sentance and everytime you hit a new word you're like WTF? lol. I think it would be awesome. Maybe there is already one? If there isnt there should be, and if there is it should be a sticky. Or as i gather information ill make one

Lot more to it than just "corals". This is one of the most important questions an aquarist can answer. It will have bearing on almost every choice that person makes for his tank.

i want soft corals and clowns. But i think we should have a complete guide for every type of tank so people coming on here can just look at it and see what theyll need, what they can purchase if they want, etc etc.
