Icon5 kalkwasser stirrer question

So I found this Kalkwasser stirrer thing and from my understanding this holds water with the kalk and in combination with an auto top off system it will keep my tank full of water and keep its calcium and alkilinity at good lvls?
also would this be good for a 45 gallon?

please assist! I'm trying to do research and understand this all so I can do a good job on my fishies so they are happy and healthy!

You are correct. What do you plan on running in this tank? Coral wise?

So, does this kalk stirrer have a pump as well? I would LOVE to find something that won't put a huge hole in my wallet and would work better than the drip system I have now, which includes a 1 gallon just with an air hose going from it to the tank, setting up next to my tank on the dvd shelf! It works but it's a pain!

im not exactly sure what corals im going to put in yet, im making a shopping list of equipment i need before i get too excited about corals and fish D: but im basing my equipment off them so maybe i should look a little more into it :x

i know i want assorted sps and lps corals to add a lot of color and fish i really havnt thought too much about xD i like butterfly fish A LOT and I like he fox face fish i have seen in a couple of pics and maybe a clown sweetlips (thats what it says in my book). those all look pretty cool i think they would make my tank look nice

it really sucks 139$ thats a really good deal but i dont have any money :/ im not ready to start setting up the tank again and i have no where to put it atm so i guess i have to let this one go
