Icon5 RO Info

Sorry, guys; I tried to search this info, but it came up *too much info to show*!

While looking into RO units, I found that there is a company here that will deliver the water to the house. Does anyone do this, or does everyone have their own unit?

From what I've been researching, I'm reading that the units take considerable time, and I'll be honest. When I'm ready to top off or do changes, I want my water ready and waiting for me. Any info and advice is welcomed.

Most here have their own units, usually you can pick up an RO unit and then your entire family can have RO water to drink to.

Most of us have our own RO/DI unit. It is cheaper in the long run and you know that water is pure. Most places that sell RO water don't change the filters often enough and aren't trying to get the water as pure as us reef keepers. As for having water ready, you can get a water tank with the unit so that you have a couple gallons ready at all times or setup a larger container (I have a 44 gal Brute trash can) filled with RO/DI water and ready for use whenever you need it.
