Default needle impeller in aqua bee pump?

Hey guys, I have been using a MCE600 deltec skimmer for the last few months, no problems, LOVE the skimmer.... till yesterday!

I cleaned it out and the aquabee pump is much, much louder than it has ever been and acts like the wheel isn't lined up in the housing right, I've replaced it in there three times and still, it makes noise like it's not perfectly straight. Is there a trick to getting it back in there right or, should I be calling Deltec for a replacement pump? I've never had an aquabee so just trying to determine if this is an O.E. (operator error) or if the pump needs replacing.

Thanks!
