Icon14 My New G4XX Protein Skimmer and Video
Hi all, I ordered a Skimmer from Glass-Holes.com dope aquarium stuff and I thought I would share the video of it running the first day we put it in. The Skimmer has been running for 5 days now and its half full, Mostly water but its a nasty brown, I still am putzing with the adjustable outlet pipe so I can get a thicker skim. This Skimmer is a beast rated for reef tanks up to 400g.
The reason I bought such a huge Skimmer is I plan on building a bigger Aquarium next spring maybe sooner.
My DIY refugium is also in the video. Any questions feel free to ask.

i'm prob keep the 55 for new live rock like cureing and stuff then maybe turn it into a refugium, or sell it.

ya the flow is very quiet on the skimmer, the only noise is a hissssss from it sucking in air.
