Default New Skimmer

I recently installed a new JEBO 180 Han On Protein Skimmer for my tank and I noticed that the water isn't reaching the overflow tray on top. Now the instructions say that it may take 2-3 days for it to be fully functioning, but is this a common thing. BTW, I took it out after I saw it when I put it in, took a look at it ensuring everything was sealed correctly and it looks fine. Any ideas?

Ok, I think I've found out what the problem is, but I'm having a serious problem getting it together, and the directions do not include anything about piecing the tubing together. I've been searching online to find anything and nothing yet. Please help

Jebo is one of the worst skimmers you can get. How did you break it?

Trying to fit the rubber ring into the tube. I did more research this time and I got myself a AquaC Remora. Should have it Tuesday.
