Default Need help Quick !!!!!

Problem; have a 125 reef ready with two drains. I have always had them both attached to a wet/dry with two 1200 gph return pumps. I added a CPR 31" refugium under the tank next to the 35" wet/dry sump. I moved one of the drain hoses to the refugium and left the other one hooked to the wet/dry. I moved one 1200 gph pump to the refugium. that pump moves water quicker than the refugium allows to drain into that chamber allowing it to dry. I took a 1000 gph pump off an extra skimmer that I have and that one moves water slower but to quick for the water to drain in. The refugium holds about 25 gallons. Any ideas on what size return pump is needed so I don't have to buy every size in the store ?????

It will take a little "finagling" but

1) Install a T in the return line.

2) Connect a valve on the outflow of each leg of the T.

3) Run one outflow to the tank and the other back to the refugium.

4) Close the outflow valve to the tank just enough to keep a steady level in the refugium (to keep it from running dry).
