Default R.O.D.I. questions and recommendations???

I am thinking about getting the dual home reef (Old style) R.O.D.I. system from air water ice and was just wondering what you guys think. You can get it in 50 gpd or 75 gpd membrane and the 75 gpd comes with a flush valve because "it's the only kind of flow restrictor we have for it". What does that really mean and which one should i get, and is there any other recommendations? I plan on using the R.O. for my 6 month olds infant water (for bottles) and the R.O.D.I. for my saltwater tank any recommendations and help would be greatly appreciated.

Air, water, & ice units are good units. Without knowing details about your tank size, but knowing that you will be using it for drinking water, I'd recommend getting the 75 gpd unit and a pressurized storage container like those that come with many of the RO units. RO/DI units typically will produce only 50%-75% of the rated amount due to lower water pressures or temperature. Also, the 75 gpd RO membrane has a higher TDS removal rate than the 100 gpd membrane so the 75 gpd would be preferred over both the 50 and 100 gpd membranes.

50 gpd membrane typically have the same high rejection rate as 75 gpd membranes.

Make sure you sanitize the system at least once a year, especially if you are using the water for the baby.
