Default Combo?

Read about a combo skimmer/filter on a vendor site. Has anyone tried these, or better to go seperately? 135 gallon tank so would take two of the combos.

If you mean the Skilter, don't waste your money. 2 things you don't want to skimp on are your skimmer & lights.

I don't know of any good skimmers that have a filter attached. Just get your self one good skimmer and some live rock and skip the filter. Your skimmer and live rock will do all of the filtering that your tank needs.

Thanks for the advice!! I'll cross the filter off the start up list.

Any thoughts or experiences with the terminator II skimmer and the "sumpless" kit?
