Default Yet Another Overflow Box Question

I have read everything I can about these hang-on type overflow boxes and I'm not sure my questions have been completely answered. I have one, it works very well and I am happy to report that I have successfully silenced the gurgle-dripping sounds (about three hours of trying everything you could imagine), HOWEVER about twice an hour, it makes a very loud slurping noise for about a second. Has anyone experienced this before? Any suggestions? Thanks for all your help. By the way, the system has only been operational for about 24 hours now.
