What do you all think about this light fixture for a 90G tank:

ehhhh...... depends on what corals you have in your tank. Just make sure you have a lot of spacing between it and the top of the tank. That is a lot of heat coming from that puppy.

Agreed. I'm thinking "optional hanging and suspension kit"... I would rather go with T5 VHOs as they don't heat up as much, but the price on this one is white nice.

There has been a great deal of forum talk for about 2-3 years about Aquatraders/Hommby lighting. It is very cheap in price. I HAve heard people say they had no problems, and I have heard people say they are scam artists. Just do a google search for hommby lighting and aquatraders lighting and you will find endless reef forum links about them.

OK. That's scary. I'm paranoid enough as it is. I don't want to need to install an internal sprinkler system in case of fire. Any suggestions on T5 fixtures for a 90g?

I got this, and it doesnt put out so much heat, yet its a little more powerful that the t5
