Default plumbing chillers

i have a 150 gallon aquarium with a wet dry filter/sump and i found a really cheap chiller but was wondering before i buy it what the easiest way to plumb it would be.

is the chiller one that needs water pumped to it or that u just put a coil in the tank or sump. if it is one that needs water pumped to it just get an adaquete pump and use pvc to pump water to it and have about 1 ft of clear tubign each way and have ball valves there so u can do quick disasembles and shut the flow off.

Usually, you'll need to get a pump to run your water through the chiller. Some brands of chillers actually come with a pump. I have a Rio 2600 running into my chiller. As far as plumbing, it may depend on your space requirements as well as the general setup of your system. The chiller just has an IN and an OUT. I used 1/2 id reinforced vinyl tubing from Lowe's. You wouldn't want the pump in the same proximity as the outlet. Either pull your water from your sump, and pump it into the tank or vice-versa. I couldn't be happier with mine.
