 What Sump Is Good For 55 Gallon Tank Hello, I am going to be purchasing a sump within the next two weeks. I had two questions 1. what is the average cost 2. what is a good skimmer for my size tank.( 55g tank im not really on a budget but dont wanna go nut) i also need one that i can put my skimmer in. Thanks in advance for all the help...  |

| Re: What Sump Is Good For 55 Gallon Tank You want a skimmer rated for twice the size of your tank. Look at Euro-Reef, ASM, AquaC, Deltec. You could easily build a sump/refugium from a tank. Take a look here for great info on them: Melevsreef.com | Acrylic Sumps & Refugiums
