Default Protien Skimmer & Power Head, Recomondtion's please!!

First off I have 29 GAL, with LS & LR, dimm.... are 30" x 12" x 24"depth

Protien skimmers, In my 29 gal would I need a air or motorized driven skimmer?

On your power heads, What kinda gph should I be looking for? also are the rotating powerheads better off? Affraid ill get to big and create whirlpool!!

120-190 gph adjustable flow with 180* rotating head and prefilter for under $40.00 it is a off brand I belive. I hope to place my order by mid-week

on anothe rthought would 2 smaller powerheads be better than 1 big?

Pump driven air injecting skimmers are just what you need.Conentional wisdom has always been 10x the tank volume for flow, but that is working its way up and 20x is a little below average.Have a look at the hydor/koralia flow pumps with flow deflectors.2 of there 400gph models sound perfect.

also, look into SEIO.

the pumps are a little larger, but would create PERFECT flow in your tank.
