Default How To Start water flow from DT to sump/fuge.........

My over flow box should be ariving any day now, I was woundering how to start the process of cycling the water through the complete system.... I understand the overflow box return pumps and so on.
Once my water in fuge is same temp, salinity and all other levels match up to my DT do I just start the cycling process up or do I need to run it a little slower until the water has had a chance to change out a few times.... Not sure on this

John

also I can remove my hang on mech filter in my DT and place it in the sump cant I ?
