I had purchase a 24G Aquapod about a month ago. Thinking to put a skimmer on it. Among that I do 5 gallon water changes every week.
Any I've heard about this skimmer buitl for the 24G Aquapod. Does anyone have any experiences with it? Here is the link:
Standard Skimmers Rated Under 60 Gallons - Sapphire Aquatics AquaPod 24 Skimmer for Current-USA's AquaPod Model AP24 D&T Aquarium Supplies Aquarium supplies for reef, saltwater, freshwater and ponds at discounted prices.
Her is the information from the company:
Sapphire Aquatics AquaPod 24 Skimmer for Current-USA's AquaPod Model AP24. The Sapphire NanoSkimmer AP24 was specifically designed to operate in the Aquapod 24 gallon aquarium while still being able to close the stock lid, but may be used in sumps or other saltwater applications. It measures 2-1/4-inches x 4-inches x 12-inches; including the collection cup at its maximum height and the pump it stands at 14.5-inches. It is simple to install and the only adjustment needed is to fine tune the height of the collection cup. After a short break in period, there are no micro-bubbles released into the tank due to the two separate bubble traps built into the skimmer. Additionally it is virtually noiseless since the clean water return is below the water level which eliminates splashing inside the overflow and the air intake has a built in silencer.
Thank you
