I just got the mighty mite and am wondering is it designed to be used laying on its side, standing up, or does it matter?

This is where I got mine.

New Reef 6st 100GPD Reverse Osmosis RO+DI Water Filters - (eBay item 120176171672 end time Nov-01-07 13:27:11 PDT)

Tonz of fun, I was concerned about my flowrate as well. The guy where I bought my RO/DI said that that was a maximum rate of 100gpd if my water pressure was 65gpm. I checked mine with a $6 pressure tester and I got 40gpm. Mine does about 3 gph. I use mine strictly for my auto top off. It took almost 3 days to fill up my 210gallon.

The unit is mounted on the bracket which is designed to hang on the wall but you can pretty much set it up anyway you want.

I tossed mine on a table outside. Place it however you want. As long as the waste water is going where it needs to go and the RO is being collected where you want it!

I moved mine to a different faucet and have it standing up instead of on its side. I am producing more good water now.

LOL, maybe you should set it up in the garden somewere.
the guy at the fish store recommended me to just buy Ro water there instead of buying an expensive unit that are usually around 100. i did not aggre too much. he thinks my tank is small enough to just buy water.
