Default Skimmer & Heater

I could use some advise on Skimmers and Heaters.

I was thinking of getting a AquaC Remora Pro Protein Skimmer, are they good or bad? (it would go in the sump, guess I need hang on for it?)

And heater, I was leaning towards Rena SmartHeater, from my experience (fresh water) heaters never work right the dials suck! ( I would put this in my sump as well?)

Any suggestions for my size tank?

-75 gallon Acrylic, built in over flow (Tank size 48" long. 20" high, 18" width)
-20 gallon Sump with bio-balls.
-50 lbs of LR, soon to be more.
-20 lbs of LS, soon to be more.
-Currently 1x Koralia 3. (getting another soon)
-1 96watt Corallife light unit
-1 260watt Aqualight Retrofit unit (no cooling fans)

I love my Aqua c remora. Only skim about 3 times a week and water is crystal clear! I would not get a glass heater, would not want an aggressive fish to break it.

I have a deltec mce 600 in my 75 gal/40 gal sump. I would recommend a visatherm stealth for the heaters (it's not glass encased and turns off automatically when not submerged in water)
