 protein skimmer + Mh bulb question hey i am curious about something, are coral life super skimmers a quality product? also would you use a 14k mh bulb or a 20k mh bulb? i am looking to buy both on doctor foster and smith in a week. oh and 1 more thing who makes the best mh bulbs? thank you in advance  |

| Re: protein skimmer + Mh bulb question Research will show that the 20k bulb makes a tank look really great but does very little coral growth.If you dont have flourescent supplimentation I would use the 14k.If you do have it go with the 12 or 14k.The coralife is as close to junk as you can get.look at asm or octopus.Are you planning on using these on a 24 gallon tank? |
