Default live rock drilling

So I have this Idea that I want to suspend some LR from the top of my tank Kind of make it look like some suspending caves or what not! I am going to use nylon ties but I want to drill some hole in it what kind of drill bit would u think you would use for that or if you could?

A masonry bit will work just fine.

pretty much any bit, Ive used a few different types of bit, LR isnt your typical rock, its seems to be more sand like calcium build up. if you going with a bigger hole pre drill with a smaller bit first. you can pick up bits in longer lenths (12"+)
for thicker rock for stacking LR using acrylic rods
