Default what do you think of this sump set up?

Right now we have a canister filter that is not working very well and is very hard to clean out. I want to add a sump but do not have much time to research and work out a system. Found this one on Ebay and it seems to have everything we need.

300 Gallon Aquarium Sump Refugium NEW - (eBay item 110200008700 end time Dec-05-07 08:06:09 PST)

Our tank is a 92 gallon corner tank that has been running for 1 year. Does this seem like a decent set up? It is made for a 300 gallon tank, would this be too big for our tank? There is also one for a 150 gallon but I figured the bigger the better? Is there anything in the set up that you would recommend upgrading? Would this be a definite improvement from the canister filter and aquaC remora hang on protein skimmer? We would be doing a refugium in the sump, and replacing the bio balls with rock.
Thank you,
Marcie

You can make one from an old tank a lot cheaper than what they're charging for that.

Not worried about the $$$, I just don't have the time to build one from an old tank, then figuring out the pumps, skimmer, overflow...I need something that is plug and play. A sump that is built already, the right pumps, or advise on them without tons of research time, and a protein skimmer that works well and overflow, all from the same place. All in about the same budget as the one on Ebay. I have a 4 year old and 2 year old twins and I am the Mommy, not the Daddy, so they keep me very busy and I have no time for building and tinkering!

I am not concerned about that price, more about the quality of the sump and accessories. I don't want something that will fall apart, fail, or need upgrading in a year. Plug and Play with quality, does such a thing exist and where can i get it Thanks,
Marcie

Got the picture. I wouldn't buy it. Basically it looks like someone took a 10 gal tank & modified it as a sump/refugium. I haven't heard of Catalina pumps. Looks like they're just bundling a lot of China made stuff and charging a good buck for it.

Thanks for the help. That was what I was worried about, spending the money and having it be junk! It is difficult to tell these things when not that experienced! It is so helpful to have advice like this thanks again,
Marcie

I would agree Jeff from Lifereef can take care of you on a refugium for your tank...
