Default Pump & Skimmer???

Went on the internet and found a DIY sump/refugium kit for $40 that i would have to put together myself and install into a 10gal aquarium ...

from what ive researched for my 60gal i only need a max 7gal sump to hold water and allow for extra drop off in power failure (so 10gal is plenty) ... so my question is they r offering a CPR designed protein skimmer w/ a Rio 600 venturi pump for an additional $99.

Is this equipment good enuff for my 60gal and is it a good price?

pls let me know ... thx

Default Re: Pump & Skimmer???

Sounds like a CPR knock off. If you're getting a sump get yourself a quality skimmer for it. Look at AquaC, ASM, Euro-Reef, etc.....
