I have two fixtures in mind but don’t know which one to go with. Plan on having some SPS in the tank at a later date. I was at a lfs and loved the lights one of the main display tanks has but the flunkies (I say that with love they have helped me very much) working there did not know as much about lights as I did (and I don’t have my first tank setup yet) any way, the light in the store was pure no blue or purple just shimmering light I think it was from the Halide lights but what else goes with it they had other lights in the fixture to get the look I was thinking about Aqua Medic Ocean Light T5/Metal Halide Combo - 48 inch 2 x 250 Watt MH + 2 x 54 Watt T5 Fixture or the Current USA Outer Orbit HQI Light 2x150W Comes with two 150 watt 10,000k HQI metal halide lamps; two 130 watt Dual Actinic 460/420nm lamps; 6 Lunar Lights; if any one has a suggestion I would appreciate it .

Glad you asked this question!!!! I have narrowed it down to about the same 2 lights. I have a 55gal tank and was wondering if I should go with the 2 250 metal halid and 2 94 t5s or 2 150 metal and 2 94 t5s.
