Default Asm G3?

It's looking like I'm geting an ASM G3 and I need to know how deep it should sit in the water in my sump.

I am a fan of overskimming but you are taking it to new heights getting an asm g-3 for a 55 gallon tank.The g is all you need and that will do 100 gallons.The g-3 is for 250 gallons.

well when I get the 55 set up someone is going to trade me a 90 so thats getting closer to the right size. I will need to make a sump/fuge for the 90 so thats the next project.
