Yeah, did you take a look at the smart strip?
I think it will. Timers and dimmers might also be a good idea. You know, just about everything that keeps Time like your vcr, micrwave used electricity when off.

I also regularly have big electricity bills, over $600 a month in the summer - and that's with two 'adults' and two worthless mutts!! If you have a plasma tv that could be adding to the bill...

Every time I hear that story about walking uphill both ways in the snow to get somewhere reminds me of when I lived in Mammoth Lakes California. My friend actually had to do that to get to his job(coffee house) every morning before the buses even started running. Its funny because he had to go up a hill and down the other side so when he came home is was uphill again. And there was at least a new foot of snow every day there, becasue it is a ski resort. Lucky me, I didnt have to do that. I worked as a lifty and was able to catch the bus up to the lodge every day.
