Default coral flats lighting

hey guys i have a question on compatibility. Im planning a 120 gallon reef flat. with alot of hard corals. my lighting is going to be pendant metal halides. im planning on 2 250 watt fixtures and depending on light coverage maybe 3.

im thinkin two of these fixtures
Sunlight Supply Lumen Max 3 250W Double Ended HQI Reflector (Saltwater Aquarium Supplies > Lighting > Fixtures > Metal Halide > Pendants > Double Ended MH )

and this ballast to run the fixtures.
Sunlight Supply Galaxy Dual 250W Electronic Ballast (Saltwater Aquarium Supplies > Lighting > Accessories > Ballasts > Metal Halide > 250 Watt )

im new to the metal halide lighting and i just wanted to make sure this ballast would work for these lights and that its a good ballast and wont burn out bulbs after a week lol.

When you get it set up please post some pics that sounds really, really cool.I would also be interested in how you would go about setting it up.I would like to see the difference between a flat(which I've never seen)and say a Reef or FOWLR set up.

Its actually going to be pretty sweet i hope lol. the tank dimensions are 48x36x16. Its not tall at all and is not going to have much for tall walls of rock or tall coral. Going to have a lot of sang, and some small piles of rocks with some mushrooms and leathers in the low light areas and in the high light areas some large brains, hammers, candycanes and maybe some acropora depending on how i feel lol. the fish stock is going to be low with a radiant wrasse, couple of clowns and some gobies. most likely purple firefish for sure and some other species of clowns. The filtration system is going to be the full length over flow, cant remember the name of it, and a 50 gallon sump/refugium below. the inputs are gonig to be powered by two return pumps, not sure on size, and about 6 - 8 lockline nozzels. its a plan in progress and wont be ready for a while, but when and if i get the tank thats pretty much what you can expect. im hoping it will turn out as good as im thinkin, im just not sure because of how shallow its going to be. neways thanks for the input and i will deff get some pics on here when i get it figured out and somewhat close to completion.
