| You should be able to raise the fixture up about 2 inches or so and you will be able to get light throughout your tank. |
| ||||
| The brace is directly below the center of my hqi bulb, so moving the fixture up and down doesnt really affect the lighting below the brace, but thanks. |
| ||||
| maybe a new light is in order. Agian something with 2 MH on each side |
| ||||
| You can cut the brace and replace it with clear acrylic.

| You could attach the acrylic with, well exactly what you think you could. Superglue. Pins. Screws.

| I didnt mention metal. A plastic screw used for holding toilet seats on the pot could work.

| I was just pointing out not to use metal didnt want someone to go slap some drywall screws in.
