Icon14 Protein Skimmers?

What would be the best protein skimmer (in sump if I can find a good new sump)?

Thanks for any help on this!

Define "Best". The best skimmers for producing waste, most cost effective for the money, best quality materials, etc... In general, you get what you pay for with protein skimmers, but sometimes it is worth it to sacrifice one area so that you can afford a skimmer that does what you need it to do - pull out waste.

Agreed, in the skimmer department you do get what you pay for, of course sometimes that may not always be the cheapest. Octopus makes some great skimmers for under $250 (I have the Octopus Xtreme INT-PS 150) and it has been doing awesome...I came home today to a 1/4'' of coffee looking crud. It was recommended to me buy a guy who goes around and checks out the latest skimmers and reviews them.
