 are these the new trend? just woundering if anyone out there has used or is thinking about useing thess. right now they would be alittle expensive for a larger tank but may look alittle promising. Current USA Power Brite LED Lighting System Light Fixtures or are they just used as a suplimental(sp)?  |

| Re: are these the new trend? yes i do think they are only used as supliments. you use them along with your real lights. LED lightning for aquariums right now is really really high so I would just go with T-5s

I Have Three Of Them On My 90 Gal.i Love Them.i Have The White And Actinics.but I Only Use 240 Watt Power Compact.but Yes They Are Just A Supplemment But Corals Really Do Flourish Under Them.i Will Eventually Get 3 More.but Led Lighting In The Near Future Will Be The Best Lighting Option,but It Is Expensive.if You Dont Have Any Get Them.

| Re: are these the new trend? I aggre about LED being the best opion. I tried adding the price for every little LED, wich each is about a $1 to 4, It came out to be aroun 200 without the computer controller.
