Icon5 84 inch Light Fixture

I am startng a new reef tank. The tank is 265 gallons and 84 inches long. Are metal halide fixtures made that long? The largest fixtures I see are 72 inches long. Are there any lighting options for a tank this size without having to hang a fixture from the ceiling?

Please help.

I've never seen one. Looks like three Lumenarcs or Lumenbrites.

I did find one on EBAY, don't know much about it though.

Someone was just posting recently about finding a 96" light somewhere on e-bay I think, but I'd be careful that you get a good unit/brand because some of the cheap ones are junk. I've never heard of a standard 84" unit though. If I were to have a 84" tank, I'd probably make a canopy and mount a retrofit unit inside of it.

I agree. He wants MH, so I would just do 3 reflectors/pendants.

Hanging a light from a canopy sounds like a great idea. Thanks.
