| If I put 250 watt bulbs on a 150 watt fixture/ballast would it overload it, or blow the bulb?

| More than likely the bulb is not burning as brightly as it should or at the right color temp.Neither the bulb or ballast will last long. |

| It would be harmful to the ballast and the bulb probably wouldn't even stay lit because it wouldn't have enough juice.

| Ok now I know this is ridiculous but how about a 150 bulb on a 250 fixture?

| Short bulb life or even, explode the bulb.
