Default Counter Current skimmers

Is anyone running a counter current skimmer? I have been running one from precision marine but am beninning to feel that they are outdated.

The old wooden air stone powered type? Used to have one years back but have since moved on to bigger & better things.

Newer skimmers are far more efficient than that antique.

I made my own CC Skimmer and it works real good on my 10 gal. But if I had a bigger system I would purchase a quality one. Changing out the wood air stone is the only pain. If I could find a quality skimmer for my small tank I would jump on it. ASM and Euro-Reef just don't make anything for us people with little tanks.

Needle wheels. Easy to run. No airstones to have to change. Check ASM, Deltec, Euro-Reef, AquaC to name a few of the better ones.

Nice thanks. I only bought the one that I have because it was only 80 bucks and made by precision marine but I like the idea of modifying it. If that fails Ill just get and AquaC
