Default Kent Phosphate Reactor

Just got a new phosphate reactor and not sure why it isn't working properly. I was told after I put the media in the bottom and hook the pump up I should see the media float. Instead it sits in the bottom of the reactor. I also started out with a small pump but have seen no change so I put a larger pump on. Any feedback or help would be GREAT!!

What I do is get the media to just bubble/boil, it shouldn't actually float.

The key to a lot of the suspended media reactors is making sure the reactor can handle the media and a pump that can give enough flow to suspend the media in the water column. They can be very finicky.
