Default Question for Nativeman!

Hey Nativeman, I tried searching for the thread that had this info on it but, couldn't find it! What I need to know is how good my t5 bulbs are! I have 3 blue actinics at 460nm and 3 10k daylights, each at 39w.

I have researched both here, online and my water quality out the wazoo for an answer to where my excess algae is coming from but, this is the last factor, that I can think of anyways! Is it possible for algae growth to increase with these bulbs? I recently upgraded to these from pc's, 1 blue actinic 65w and 1 10k daylight 65w....

Thanks for any help you or anyone can give me!

Oh, just for formalities, here's my water params:
ammonia 0
nitrite 0
nitrate 5
ph 8.4
dkh 10
alk 6
phosphate 0
silica ?(only thing i can not test for yet)
temp 74-76F

I am wondering if the 10ks need to be 12ks, I'd like to try it but wanted to run that idea across you all first!
