Wesley, I know what Grad school does to you. It's been a couple years but it still seems like yesterday. Actually I enjoyed it, despite the lack of sleep. What are you specializing in, how far are you?

My tank is doing alright. I am still running FOWLR, letting the tank mature. Coralline has really taken off. I got a QT tank going and have been diligent in preventing any diseases hopping aboard with new fish. However, I am said to say that I have had a couple casualties in the past couple months. Haven't really been able to figure out what exactly has been causing them. I think in any cases territory issues. Planning on corals within the next 6 months if I don't lose my mind first. Good to have you back, man. You have always had good insight!
I am 2 semesters from graduation and getting my MS in Biosecurity and Biodefense as it pertains to biotechnology.

I'm glad that you are making the progression towards corals and that your coraline is really getting seated into your tank. I have decided to keep a Euphyllia only tank with a few green and yellow star polyps here and there. I will be here heavy for the next month and then on/off again during my summer classes. Let's get some good conversations going!

That's an interesting direction! I managed to obtain a MS in Biopsychology with emphasis on Neuropsychology....but ended up working in the legal arena.

As far as conversations are concerned, I'm all for it. As you will have noticed there have been some changes in the "core members" here...but there remains a good foundation of knowledge and a desire to learn so what more could you ask for. However, I can't deny that I have become increasingly active on a few other forums as well. Spreading my wings so to speak.

Looking forward to seeing some pics of your tank!

Yes, I have seen many new additions and the departure of some of the elders, but I guess change is good and this opportunity for growth is the most important thing. I too have joined some other forums. I just need for everyone to make sure they aren't passing off opinion for fact.
