| Don't really know. I use T-5's rather than MH's. You might want to talk to the people at either of the above establishments. They may be able to guide you on bulb choices. My corals, both SPS and LPS, do great. Some species of corals grow slowly to begin with. not to mention making sure Ca, Mg and Alk are all optimal. |

| well I have a 110g, really want to convert to reef, I have done my own research and for my size tank it comes out to be 2 MH 250 watts and they are 10k, I am anxious to post some pics, tanks just not worthy of competing with some that I have seen on here, hopefully.........soon |

| I have 2 250 MH on my 120. I'm running 14k Pheonix DE bulbs in mine with no actinic supplements and really like the color. A little blue, but not overly blue. |
